General game taking the limelight (2015)

These are pictures I have taken at Lake Manyara, the Ngorongoro Crater, the Serengeti (all Tanzania) and Phinda (South Africa) earlier this year. The shots are as much about the beautiful animals as they are about the overall mood prevailing during those precious moments. Enjoy!

  1. There’s so much amazing wildlife in Africa! Sometimes it boggles my mind when I think about it, and I’m not exaggerating. It also makes me wonder how people in Africa think of North American animals. Are they just as fascinated by the wildlife in my backyard as I am theirs?

I’m just thinking out loud at this point: you don’t have to answer that question.

    • 😉 actually, I have no idea. They certainly have already a lot on their hands with their own wildlife … think conservation, etc. Still, North American wildlife is awesome and it is very different from its African counterpart, I could imagine that Alaskan Bear Watching or some back-country hikes into the depths of Yellowstone or Yosemite would get even the biggest African wildlife fan excited!
